I recently celebrated a year of sobriety thanks to the amazing care, genuine compassion, and breadth of tools I was given at Scottsdale Recovery. I was broken, hopeless, and lost in the depth of opioid addiction when I walked into SRC’s residential... program at the Sweetwater house. Despite not wanting to be in treatment at all, the support and encouragement I received from every staff member made me want to stay. When I completed the residential portion of the program, the SRC team helped me transition seamlessly into their intensive outpatient program and the phenomenal case management staff assisted me with finding a sober living that met my needs. While attending the IOP program, the group facilitators gave me tools I continue to use today to not only maintain my sobriety, but also to build a life I no longer want to escape from. I was also given the opportunity to participate in Scottsdale Recovery’s coaching program called 33 Degrees. This program allowed me to take my recovery to an entirely new level. I met other sober people who I have formed genuine lasting friendships with. I was also able to obtain my Peer Support Certification through Scottsdale Recovery Center. From the moment I walked into SRC as a client, my dream was to return someday as an employee. Today, I am proud to say that dream has become reality.
